Yes you read it right, me and my toddler who is two and half years old met some amazing mummies at Sir Richard Brandson – TheRoofGarden .
How often do you roll your eyes in just the thought of meeting in central London. I have clenched my teeth at just the thought of it.
Oh no, not only do I have to travel but I have to deal with the hustle and bustle of commuting.
Well let me take your imagination to another level. I hope you enjoy the pictures of me and my son at this amazing roof top garden thanks to KensingtonMums.
(Oh you too Claire.) What I really loved about this event is that no mother is doing something wrong. After speaking to many mums we agree that we are continuously learning.
I started to feel broody again when I saw a new beautiful ‘bump’ join us Ayesha Mustafa seeing in a new mum to be, gives every mum a chance to share tips from nannies to labour stories. We tried not to scare her, I promise.
This event gives you the chance to be around women, who empower each other.
Doesn’t matter of the social class, religion, language or location we all have one thing common and it’s called ‘Motherhood‘.
The next time you are out and speak to a mum tell her where you take your child and maybe you can go on a play date together.
